AT&T hopes to offer ‘All In One’ prepaid option this June

i897_attAT&T announced it’s plans to launch a new prepaid service under the “All In One” brand this June, according to sources. The carrier will likely offer a $35 per month service for select feature phones and a $50 per month service for smartphones.

AT&T’s All In One brand will include unlimited talk and text as well as a data allotment (it’s unclear how much) for $35 per month for their selected feature phones. For smartphones, the carrier is looking to offer unlimited talk and text (with 2GB of HSPA data) for $50. The carrier may also offer a $70 smartphone plan that includes 5GB of data, but that is still uncertain.

Sources say that AT&T will begin testing the plans in Florida and Texas this month, and has scheduled a tentative nationwide launch for June 15. (Let it be noted that the details of the plans could change before then.)

AT&T’s new emphasis on prepaid shouldn’t be a surprise. They have been working on increasing sales of their high-end LTE smartphones lately, which would free up space on their HSPA network. At some point, AT&T hopes to cover around 270 million POPs with LTE by the end of this year.
