Since initially announcing the upcoming availability of the HTC One X, AT&T has remained largely silent as to price and release date. Rumors regarding the international version have been pointing early April dates however those of us in the United States are left in the dark. A new email allegedly sent from Best Buy seems to shed some light on the subject of AT&T’s launch.
According to a customer who pre-ordered the HTC One X at his local Best Buy (Mobile) store, AT&T plans to make the phone available on May 6th. What’s more, the email alludes to the fact that the date has been changed or differs from whenever AT&T initially expected to launch.
The change in release time frame may have come as a result of the T-Mobile leak from this week. Perhaps after learning that T-Mobile’s model would debut on April 22, AT&T has stepped on the gas and moved their HTC One X up a bit.
