Boost Mobile, a prepaid division of Sprint, announced the availability of the LG Marquee today. The phone will have a 1GHZ processor and sport a 4 inch display.  It ships with Android 2.3 – no word on if and when it may see Android 4.0.

The Marquee will be available January 23rd for $279.99 with no contract and will require you to have the $55/month Android service option with “SHRINKAGE“.

SHRINKAGE is a new program that, for every 6 months of on time payments made, $5 will be removed from your monthly bill, up to $15 total. So after 18 months, you could potentially pay only $40/month (plus taxes) for service on the Marquee.

Seems like a great all around deal for a great phone and service, don’t you think?

    • Boost plans don’t include tax! It depends on what state you are in. Most states don’t charge tax on plans. Dude doesn’t know what hes talking about. Drugs are bad!!!
