The second service for the Android community being offered by The Open Mob is the Help a ‘Droid Out (HADO) mailing list.
I get a fair number of inquiries from people looking for Android development talent. At the same time, I see a lot of people trying to “make a go of it” with Android and not exactly making ends meet from the Android Market — they need experience, exposure, money, or perhaps all three.
HADO is a matchmaking list, modeled after Peter Shankman’s Help a Reporter Out.
If you are seeking Android talent, for software development (commercial or open source) or whatever, post your query on HADO. There is no charge and no ads — this is just a “freebie” to help the community.
If you are interested in hearing of opportunities or projects seeking participants, sign up for HADO (right now, it’s a Google Group). You will get at most one email per business day, so it will not swamp your inbox. And all queries are vetted by a vast team (well, OK, just me) to cull out spam, so only legitamite opportunities should appear.
If you have any questions about HADO, send an email to hado |at| andmob.org.
