Cellular South announced early today that they’ve begun offering a new Android handset in the form of the Motorola Milestone Plus.  Known in Verizon circles as the Droid Pro, the handset features a front-facing QWERTY, a 3.1-inch touch display, and 1GHz processor. Powered by Android 2.1 Froyo, the Milestone Plus also offers consumers 4GB internal storage with micro-SD expansion, 5-megapixel camera, and support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

On the software front, the Milestone Plus provides full push corporate e-mail with corporate level security, data encryption, Quickoffice Mobile Suite, and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.

The Motorola Milestone Plus is now available through Cellular South for $199 with a qualifying two-year service agreement data plan and $50 mail-in reward card.
