Cooliris LiveShare 1.2 Adds Shared Group Photo Streams

Cooliris, the team behind that really cool Android image gallery, has announced an update to their LiveShare application.  The free title lets users create photo streams and share them with friends and family.  Or not.  They can also keep things private if that’s their desire.  The latest release (v1.2) is out and it adds the ability to create shared group photo streams.  It’s now possible for everyone to pool their images together in one place, regardless of how the picture was taken.

Also available online and for iPhone and Windows Phone 7 folks, LiveShare lets users browse publicly shared groups from the cloud as well as creating their own private galleries.  Only people invited your stream can add or view  photos so there’s no fear of outsiders snooping at those bachelor party pictures. Another cool Android feature in LiveShare is the option to share your existing images with the service.  Already have a ton of pictures between your and your friends?  Android makes it easy to “share”!  Read more about LiveShare and other Cooliris services at
