Cricket Wireless on Wednesday announced next smartphone, the LG Stylo 2, will arrive on May 13.  Launching with a $170 price tag, it’s a big screen experience with respectable hardware specifications.
Next week you can treat yourself the Mother’s Day gift you really wanted. On May 13, the new LG Stylo 2, the perfect smartphone for the media-loving mom on the go arrives at Cricket Wireless stores and online for $169.99.
Powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Stylo 2 offers users a spacious 5.7-inch display with a built-in stylus. The phone draws strength from a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdraon processor with 2GB RAM; storage capacity is pegged at 16GB internally.
In terms of cameras, the Stylo 2 packs a rear 13-megapixel shooter with a 5-megapixel unit around front. Rounding things out, the phone comes with a capacious 3,000mAh battery which should be good for far more than a typical day’s usage.
As an added incentive, Cricket will gift customers with a $50 gift card for switching from other wireless providers. Should one port their number from T-Mobile, Cricket will double the offer and hook them up with a $100 gift card.
Cricket Wireless is a prepaid service provider that utilizes AT&T’s network.
