Cricket Wireless today announced its latest campaign designed to attract customers currently subscribed to other carriers.

Although new subscribers get the benefit of a deeply discounted handset, current Cricket users can also score some pretty good prices on devices, too.

A list of unfortunate phones that will never see an update.
The idol 3 will.
The Cricket version?
I just switched back to Sprint from Cricket after being with them for over 2 years (joined when they were AIO) and it was a relief to get away from obnoxious, featureless Cricket!!Case in point…I have recently been inundated with calls 2 to 3 times a day from a spammer and there is NO WAY to block any incoming calls on Cricket’s system, but Sprint does have that feature YAAAA! Also, when you cancel with Cricket they keep any money they may have owed you for a pro-rated month. Yeah, I just got off the phone with their CS dept and that’s what they told me. Is it any wonder why their service is so cheap? As the old saying goes: “You get what you pay for”. Good riddance, Cricket.
Won’t you miss being able to use voice and data at the same time?
Nope, never used it and don’t need it. Thanks.
It’s sort of like color TV… you may not think you “need it”, but once you’ve tried it, it’s hard to go back.
I rarely use data, maybe twice a year not counting texting.
