Download This! Wall Street Journal Tablet Edition is reporting that the Wall Street Journal has been very smart with the release of their new Android application.  With the Samsung Galaxy Tab being released as really the first viable Android tablet, the financial newspaper has created a tablet only application to allow you to read their content on the go.

It tries to offer a reading experience that’s pretty much like the physical paper, which it seems that tablets are partly made for.  The Wall Street Journal has also implemented full-screen video, market data and customization options. You also get the ability to save articles for offline reading, which might become in handy if you don’t have a contract running along it.

If you don’t have a tablet to use this app with, fuggedaboutit, it won’t work.  Also, the app only works with Froyo or higher (Gingerbread Google?  Today?).

All the options, along with subscriber privileges are available for just $3,99, but the app itself is free, so what are you waiting for? Go check it out!
