Verizon’s latest Android smartphone, the LG Spectrum, has officially gone on sale today, if only online.  Expected to hit retail stores shortly, the 1.5GHz dual-core handset features a number of high end specs including 4G LTE connectivity.  As a reminder, details include Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, a gorgeous 4.5-inch 720p display, 8-megapixel camera, and a front-facing camera.  At $199 with a two-year service agreement, we find it awfully tough to resist the charms of this superior 4G LTE phone.

  1. I’ve been trying to confirm if the Spectrum has NFC. No articles have mentioned it, so I assume not. However, some cell phone spec sites have said that it does have NFC. Can someone confirm or deny? Thanks.
