You know you always want to grab your headphones when you go out for a jog?  Don’t you wish there was something better to put into your ears as you trek across the tri-county area?  Jabra understands your needs and announced the launch of two products today that will become a part of a new Jabra Sports portfolio. Expected to be available this month (September) the Jabra SPORT and SPORT-CORDED  are ideal headsets active lifestyles.

The Jabra SPORT features built-in FM radio, A2DP technology, and powerful bass to help get you moving during a run or workout.  Additionally, the stereo headset features a wind-shielded microphone and is US Military Standard Rain, Dust and Shock Resistant certified.  You know, just like those rugged smart phones! The headphones have an  ergonomic behind-the-ear design and come with three different sets of eargels, so you can get the right fit.

The Jabra SPORT also comes with a free download of Endomondo Sports Tracker, the popular fitness tracking app for Android. Using the application one can track speed, distance, lap time, calories burned, elevation, and much more.  Since the app uses your phone’s GPS, it can also track your route and map things out.

The Jabra SPORT-CORDED is essentially the same thing as the Jabra SPORT except that it has a –wait for it– cord.  Same rugged protection, same water resistance but with a tether.  Both the Jabra SPORT ($99.99) and Jabra SPORT-Corded ($69.99) will be available on in September however the Jabra SPORT will also be at Sprint and T-Mobile stores.
