Let’s face it: the Android homescreen can get stale, boring – just plain old “meh”. Not because of anything Google did wrong, of course, but there are those users like myself who constantly want to see their setups change, stay fresh. Enter “Everything.me”.

This homescreen replacement app is pretty cool. Everything.me aims to change your homescreen experience from one of an all-around, static view of what you need to know about everything, and morph it into everything you need to know about a single thing – while keeping it easy to change up. A transition from a “jack of all trades” launcher experience to a “master of one” experience, if you will.

If you want to know everything there is to know about a band, perhaps – say, “Thank You Scientist” (Was that a shameless plug?), all you have to do is hit the search bar up top, and enter / say the band name. Within seconds, your homescreen has changed. Now, not only has your background changed to match your search, but you’re seeing links to official pages, youtube videos, spotify searches for your band, lyrics, wikipedia pages, and more. Much more. Interested in sushi? Search it. Dog whistles? You got it. Indie tap dancing? Your favorite, widely-unknown beer? Winston Churchill? Search it, and you’re knee-deep.

Check out the video below for a full-on look at how it works, and be sure to hit the download links below to try it out for yourself. You can also check out their homepage here.
