FreedomPop has quite the knack for making headlines with their free mobile calling service. Well, they’re doing so again, and those who make frequent calls internationally will really enjoy this news.
FreedomPop offers 100 free minutes of international calls
FreedomPop is giving 100 free minutes of international calls monthly to anyone with any phone on any carrier in 52 countries including U.S., Canada, Mexico, UK, and China. In case you missed the meaning of the italics, this means Bob with an iPhone on AT&T (U.S.) can call Sally with an Android on Rogers (Canada).
You can get more minutes by paying a starting monthly fee of $4.99. Also, if you can get an international number so that others can call you for local rates. Meaning while in the U.S., you can get a number in China, and then anyone in China can call you and only be charged their local rate. This service also costs $4.99/month.
What more could you ask for in a service like this? Will you be trying out this service?
