Gameloft expects to offer in-app purchases for the remainder of its 2012 Android games, according to announcements made during its financial report. Additionally, Gameloft plans to incorporate social elements into its games, tying Twitter and Facebook accounts in for an enhanced experience. Both the freemium model and social networking aspect have polarizing effects on users and players however we feel Gameloft should handle both of these right. We’re pretty confident that Gameloft won’t litter our timelines with every single unlocked feature, high score, and in-game progress.
We’re anxious to get our hands on some of Gameloft’s upcoming titles, including Ice Age and Men in Black III. Taking things even further, we’re super-geeked to see the newly announced The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, and The Amazing Spider-Man.
