Google I/O Pricing Leaks, Public Registration Due in February

Don’t look now, but Google I/O 2011 is bearing down on us pretty quickly.  Slated to take place at Moscone West on May 10th-11th, the Android and Google faithful are on pins and needles waiting for registration.  We’re told registration is said to take place later this month, but we’re running low on days.  One of our readers noticed a change in the css files from the Google I/O website so he did some digging. AndroidMike found that general registration is set for February but developers will be able to sign up in short order.  How much will it cost, you ask?

  • Early Bird Price (until 4/16/11) $450
  • List Price (starting 4/17/11) $550
  • Academia (student, faculty) $150
  • BootCamp +$100 (all registration types)

We’re not going to share the page for signing up yet as we don’t want to jump the gun or get in trouble.  We assume Google will make an announcement in the near future as the site looks ready to roll!  Strap in kids, things are about to get going!  In the meanwhile, be sure to follow the official twitter account to stay up to date.

We’re excited to offer you presale registration to Google I/O at Early Bird price of $450. This offer will end when we open registration to the public in February, so register today.

You will have the option to pay your registration fees via Google Checkout or via standard credit card payment.

Please note that this presale registration is not public and can only be used by those who’ve been invited to register at this time.
