Just when many of Google’s app services are merging or shutting down, one of their not-so-out there almost forgotten apps receives an update! Google News and Weather is the app where news customization and personalization for news junkies far and wide to get their fill of news.
What is new with the app?
- The option to change the background from a light color theme to a dark theme.
- Improved weather map with enlarged graphs including humidity and wind.
- The ability to save news searches in sections
- Select stories from your favorite publishers
