Having already pushed out Android 5.0.1, Google has another update for us today bringing Google Play Games to version 2.2.

There aren’t a ton of changes, but a few small noteworthy things. First of is the first run experience has been updated – the screen that is shown the first time the app is run explaining what the app does and what the user can do.

The account picker has also been updated to now show on devices where only one account has been added in order to give an easy way to add multiple accounts direct from the app.

Finally, game detail has also seen a few cosmetic changes with the ‘view in Play Store’ redesigned and a share button positioned next to it.

You should see Google Play Games version 2.2 rolling out to your device soon, but if you’re impatient then you can go ahead and download it here.
