When a new flagship device comes out from Samsung it seems only natural that it be compared to the flagship Apple device of the current time. In this particular test, it’s the camera that is of focus, and with a reputation going into this battle of the iPhone 6S packing the best camera on the market, it should be a close battle, right?

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a new 12-Megapixel f/1.7 sensor, which trumps the f/2.2 sensor on the iPhone 6S, allowing better low-light performance and sharper images during normal operation. The Galaxy S7 is also feature-rich as it offers a Dual Pixel autofocus, making capturing moving subjects easier due to its fast autofocus.

The Galaxy S7 seems the clear winner; with its superior sensor, focusing ability, and software enhancements, it seems the crown of the best camera on the market has changed hands from the iPhone 6S.
