As of late, Samsung has been using its enormous power to negotiate free extras to the millions of Galaxy owners world-wide. Samsung has now inked a deal with Amazon to provide 12 free eBooks a year to Galaxy smartphone and tablet users.
On the heels of announcing the free streaming radio service Milk Music exclusive for Galaxy owners this past March and giving Galaxy S5 owners a Galaxy Gifts package worth around $600, Samsung and Amazon agreed to launch “Kindle for Samsung”. This is a custom-built eBook service offering readers a choice of over 500,000 exclusive titles to choose from.
As part of this deal, Samsung and Amazon will also be launching a service called “Samsung Book Deals” which will provide 12 free eBooks a year to all Kindle for Samsung users. It was initially thought that this was an expanding of the Galaxy Gifts for Galaxy S5 program, but Samsung did clear up the wording to stress that this was for all Galaxy devices.
Milk Music, Galaxy Gifts for Galaxy S5, and now Kindle for Samsung. If you aren’t a Galaxy owner, is this enough to make you buy one? If not, why?
Kindle for Samsung is immediately available in over 90 countries via the Samsung Apps.
