  • Snapdragon 820
  • 4GB RAM
  • Pressure sensitive screen

Galaxy S7 and S7 Release Date

According to the brochure, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will launch on March 11th, 2016, in Spain, so expect a similar timeframe for the rest of Europe and perhaps even the US.

The Galaxy S7 will set you back €700, with the S7 Edge a cool €800. Both devices will come bundled with a VR headset as we expected, and that probably confirms why the device will come with MicroUSB rather than USB Type-C as we reported earlier in the week.

We must point out that although this looks pretty solid evidence, it is still a pre-release leak and must be therefore treated as such. We will find out for sure all the details about the new Samsung flagships next week at MWC 2016.

  1. Very curious to see how the photos look. the S5 I have with a 15 MP camera takes stellar pics in sunlight or with good lighting. Detail is brilliant and they are very pleasing to look at. Will this 12 MP cut down on the resolution? Will it not have the same detail as the cost for better low light/indoor pics?

      • 12 MP Has to be lower rez by definition than the 15 in the S5 and the however many in the S6 though, unless I have a fundamental misunderstanding of how these things work which is highly possible. Anyway we should know tomorrow.
