LG today introduced a new “L-Style” line of handsets, Optimus L3, Optimus L5 and Optimus L7, putting them on our radar just in time for Mobile World Congress.  Expected to be officially announced next week on February 27th, the three models each come with a different size and, presumably, selling points. We do know that these stylish phones come with thin, square corners and a back that resembles leather.

On the smaller end of the spectrum is the Optimus L3 which runs Android 2.3 and offers a 3.2-inch display and 1500mAh battery.  Stepping up a notch, the Optimus L5 is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and packs a 4.0-inch screen.  Going just a tad further, the Optimus L7 also runs Android 4.0 and provides a 4.3-inch display.

Assuming we don’t learn the juicy details in the coming days, look for more details to surface next week as LG formally announces the trio of smartphones.  Mobile World Congress gets started in less than a week and Barcelona should be buzzing with Android!
