LG Enlighten Shows Off Keyboard, Additional Angles

Some of you might recall hearing a bit about the LG Enlighten earlier this month, when a picture and spec sheet leaked online.  Due as early as August 25th, the handset was listed with specifications that include a 3.2″ HVGA (480×320) display, an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and 2GB microSD card.  We could tell by the details that the Enlighten featured a QWERTY keyboard but, unfortunately, we did not know what it looked like.  Thanks to a number of pictures found by Pocketnow, we have a good look at the total picture.

The design here is your standard sliding QWERTY form factor which is uninspiring if anything.  Of course, Verizon and LG don’t care what the high end users think in this case, they’re going after a broader demographic.  Last year’s Optimus line (Verizon Vortex) didn’t win any beauty prizes but it sold well for first-time smart phone buyers.

We’d heard this while come in with a sub-$100 price tag and we fully expect it to be on the low side when it arrives.  We’re thinking closer to free or possibly some dirt cheap back-to-school pricing.
