MetroPCS announced on Monday that a pair of Alcatel smartphones have joined the carrier’s lineup. Tapped with very affordable price points, the ONE TOUCH Fierce and ONE TOUCH Evolve are low-cost Androids with no long-term commitments.

The $99 Fierce runs Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean, features a 4.5-inch qHD display, and 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Moving down the ladder a step, the $59 Evolve features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 4-inch display, 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera.

I If you  think you’ve already heard this stuff before, it’s likely because T-Mobile recently introduced the same pair of devices. The difference, though, is that MetroPCS’s models are less expensive.
