Motorola was very busy this year. Between the release of the new Moto X, the Nexus 6, and the Droid Turbo, they had a lot of big name devices to churn out. Now that they’re all out, it is time for rumors to start flying about the next device. This one has to do with the Droid line, and it is quite interesting.

Motorola Droid with 5.9-inch screen and 4 GB RAM

Phone Arena has been told by a Motorola insider that the next Droid will be very reminiscent. Yes, even down to the 5.9-inch screen. Supposedly this device will also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 4 GB of RAM (yes, you read that right too), which will show off the 64-bit in the Snapdragon 810.

Take this rumor with caution (as you should with any rumor), but if this turns out to be true we could be seeing an interesting device, and one that will throw more weight into the “everyone needs a phablet” idea.

Do you like the idea of a Nexus 6 and Droid Turbo combo of a beast? Leave us your thoughts below.

  1. The Droid Turbo by Motorola trades elegance for brute force, elevating the Droid brand back into the upper echelon of Android smartphones.
