Taiwan-based Micro-Star International (MSI) is at Computex this week where they have unveiled a pair of new Android tablets – the WindPad Enjoy 10 and Enjoy 7.  As you can probably guess, one is a 10-inch model while the other is 7-inches.  Each are expected to begin shipping to retailers in the latter part of July where they will have very attractive price tags.  The 10-inch version will run $299 (US) while the 7-inch should only set you back $199.
According to PC World, the Wi-Fi-only Enjoy 10 is heavier than the iPad 2 and lacks in memory and storage (only 4GB)  however the 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor is nothing to sneeze at. Additional details include mini-USB, mini-HDMI, and microSD support as well as Bluetooth and accelerometer.
The two devices were shown running Android 2.3 Gingerbread however MSI hopes to deploy future models with Honeycomb later this year. Â Unfortunately, neither device is expected to offer the Android Market when they arrive. Â Of course, that’s nothing a little rooting couldn’t fix, right?
While these might not knock your socks off or stack up next to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Motorola XOOM, the price point is attractive and will turn a few heads. Â MSI is the kind of name and brand that bridges high end tablets with those knockoff devices found at your local drug store.
