Music streaming service Napster is about to get even better for listeners as it today announces a host of new features. Available in the updated Android and iOS apps, listeners pick up a new custom playlist mix (Napster Mix) based on favorite artists.  What’s more, the app will will recommend newly-released albums based on preferred artists and genres.

Additionally, the refreshed Napster app offers a personalized “EarPrint” which lets users customize the audio experience by tuning specifically to each ear. This aspect is designed in conjunction with headphone manufacturer EVEN.

As one might expect, the app will receive a punch-up to allow for the new features. To that end, listeners should look for a new Home Screen which suggests playlists tailored around individual tastes and what’s trending among friends.

Enhancements

New iHeartRadio App

A new iHeartRadio experience is coming soon, too. As part of a new partnership with Napster, iHeartRadio All Access Powered By Napster is one of two new on-demand streaming services recently announced. Currently available in beta for Android and iOS, it will be fully offered across mobile and desktop in January 2017.

Napster is a premium subscription streaming music service provider with access to more than 40 million songs. New subscribers can sample the goods for up to 30 days with unlimited free access. Moreover, it expects some discounted rates and promotions as we head deeper into the holiday season.
