Amazon’s Prime Day 2018 shopping event includes discounts on tech products from countless manufacturers including NVIDIA.

You can currently grab the SHIELD TV with a discount. The device, which is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor and runs on Google’s Android TV platform is available for purchase for $179. Which is $20 off its regular price.

The model on sale has 16GB of storage on board and ships with a voice remote and a gaming controller.

NVIDIA isn’t limiting the sale just to Prime Day. Customers can grab the discounted SHIELD TV until Saturday, July 21. The promotion isn’t available only on Amazon. You’ll be able to get the discount from Best Buy, Fry’s and the official SHIELD Store.

There’s another SHIELD TV version which only comes with a remote and that’s on sale too. You can grab it for $149, discounted from $179. This promo will expire soon, so if you want the remote-only version, hurry up and place your order here!

The SHIELD TV is 4K HDR media streamer that also doubles as a Google Assistant-compatible device that gives you control over your home. For example, you can ask it to stream Netflix to your TV, shuffle your favorite playlist or turn off the lights in the kitchen.

It also gets frequent updates. Although the last one ran into a few issues. After a false start at the end of May, the Android 8.0 Oreo update started rolling out again towards the end of last month.

The new update overhauls the user interface bringing new sections on the left side on the screen. Here you’ll find your favorite apps, play next section and channels.

You also get improved support for game controllers like Shield controller, Xbox 360 and DualShock controller.

Don’t forget! You have until Saturday to get the NVIDIA SHIELD TV with a discount!
