opentable_01OpenTable, Inc., has announced the launch of their free reservations booking app for Android-based devices.  Diners using the app can check the availability of multiple restaurants in their respective areas, browse restaurant reviews, invite friends to join them! After helping seat over 500,000 iPhone diners, OpenTable is immediately available for Android.

The app sounds simple enough – Specify the desired date, time and party size for your meal and get back a list of available tables at restaurants within your vicinity. You can pare down results by price or type of cuisine, pull up individual restaurants, and send emails with reservation information to your friends.

According to OpenTable, they have more over 11,000 restaurant customers and have seated more than 110 million diners in just over 10 years of existence. Based out of San Francisco, OpenTable offers service in the US, Canada, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
