If you’ve never used, it’s quite a useful site. It’s essentially a place for you to keep information, so that others on the web can’t access it. You have complete control over your information, which you organize into gems based on what its purpose. You can share these gems with others, which is a nice touch. Personal has just launched an Android app, so users can access their info from their smartphone or tablet. I could go into extensive detail, but the video below says it so much better.

Private, Personal Network and Data Vault Service

Washington, D.C. (November 30, 2011) – Personal (, a private, personal network

and online identity, announced today the release of its native mobile application for Android

Personal’s Android app provides the same core features and legal and security protections that are
available through its web and mobile web products that launched in open beta on November 11, 2011.

Gemware, which is Personal’s app store for data.
• Owners can add empty gems to their vaults and fill them with information about their lives.

Personal plans to unveil its iPhone app in the coming weeks, and the product is currently available to all
smartphone users via the mobile web. Tablet users can access Personal through a mobile browser.
