The VR/AR space is a hot market right now. Every company and their uncle seem to be releasing a VR headset, including Google. Wait, what? Google already has Cardboard, which is great for education and users who just want to try out VR. But is it enough for everyone else?

Keep in mind that this is just a rumor, and details have been “leaked” by Peter Rojas of Gizmodo, Engadget and other ventures. He cites multiple sources, and took to Twitter to release what information he had.

It might be safe to say that this leak is most likely true. Back in February there were reports that Google was working on their own VR headset and setting it up to be better than Samsung’s Gear VR, with “better sensors, lenses and a more solid plastic casing.”

We’ll have to wait until Google I/O 2016 for a definitive answer, which is set for May 18-May 20.
