Another rumor has died today as Samsung has confirmed the upcoming release of the Galaxy S3 Mini, a smaller version of its popular Samsung Galaxy S III.  Details are pretty much what we’ve come to expect and include Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel camera, 1,500mAh battery, and support for various HSPA bands.

Samsung has yet to announce pricing or availability for this device however we fully expect something less expensive than the Galaxy S III. Â Considering the lack of 4G LTE support, we should not hold our breath for a U.S. release.

“a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA display…” and a crappy resolution of 800×480 other than that the phone is awesome!
No LTE, no thanks.
