Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumored to Emerge With a Metal Casing

While the Galaxy Gear is close to its release, the same thing can unfortunately not be said for Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S4. But despite the difference in release dates, rumors are starting to surface for the Galaxy S IV successor. Of course it’s not certain that the device will be called Galaxy S 5, Samsung might just as well change the name for its fifth iteration of the Galaxy S line. Something that might convince Samsung to change the name is the rumor that’s floating around about the Galaxy S 5 having a metal casing instead of the plastic we have become used too from the Korean giant.

Whether or not this means replaceable batteries and memory cards will disappear is not known yet, but at least Samsung is looking to prevent the problems the iPhone 4 had with the death grip due to its metal casing. This change might very well cause lovers of the premium feel to start looking at Samsung devices again.
