Samsung inches closer for Jelly Bean on product line, rumor suggest

Samsung is close to releasing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for their Galaxy S III, having recently starting on a version ready for public consumption.  According to SamMobile, Samsung recently completed testing of the firmware and is currently waiting on Google’s approval.

As for the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note, things look to be moving along on that front as well.  Interestingly enough, SamMobile posits that Samsung may decide at the last moment to not release Android 4.1 to these models.  If that were to be the case they indicate that Samsung would issue a value pack update. For what it’s worth, testing is said to be fine and there’s no reason to suggest Samsung will not proceed with the update.
