Samsung announced on Monday that another two models will join the family of Galaxy Tab 3  Android-powered tablets. As the headline implies we have 8-inch and 10.1-inch tablet models arriving globally later this month (June). Both models feature similar hardware however they do not offer identical internal specifications.

Standout features for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 8-inch (1280×800) display,  5-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet boasts 1.5GB RAM, comes in 16GB and 32GB storage capacities, and offers a 4550mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 details include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean,  a dual-core 1.6GHz processor, a 10.1-inch (1280×800) display, 3-megapixel rear camera, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. With 1GB RAM, the tablet also comes in 16GB or 32GB options.  The battery here is listed at 6800mAh.

Both offer microSD expansion options for up to 64GB of additional storage and a host of integrated Samsung apps and services. In an interesting change of pace, both of these tablets also feature physical buttons on the bottom edge, leading to a more phone-like navigation.

Look for pricing and exact availability to be announced before too long.
