SanDisk unveils USB 3.0 flash drives for Android

Sandisk unveiled something pretty special at the start of CES 2015.  The Silicon Valley based storage company showed their new Ultra Dual USB 3.0 flash drive.  The drive can connect to PCs by its high-speed USB 3.0 connector or to Android devices through micro-USB.  This drive can instantly expand any Android device by up to 64GBs.  Features like 4K video capture, which seem to be more common in newer devices, can use space very quickly.  The Ultra Dual USB 3.0 will give Android users quick access to very fast transfers between their mobile devices and Windows or Mac based machines.  The director of retail storage at SanDisk, Phillipe Williams, had this to say about his company’s new product:

“Android devices offer users amazing features including high-resolution photography and 4K Ultra HD video recording, which quickly fill large amounts of mobile memory, and we know our customers are looking for quick ways to access and transfer these types of files…In an effort to continue to improve our customer experience, we incorporated feedback from our existing SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive to build an even sleeker, faster and more convenient solution for users on the go”

The launch of the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB 3.0 is worldwide.  Models vary in size from 16GB to 64GB and carry a price tag of between $24.99 and $64.99.  Pick up your’s today at www.sandisk.com.
