Microsoft, since purchasing Skype, has launched several updates for their Android application, and today another one is being released. This update brings the video calling ability to different Android devices. Skype 2.6 for Android allow users to send photos and videos to their friends and family members from their Android device for free.

The new version also improves battery usage and video quality on NVIDIA Tegra 2 devices, like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Asus Transformer. Skype is also working hard to bring the video calling ability to all the Android devices running 2.2+, and their latest additions are the HTC Amaze 4G and Droid RAZR.
