Wash, Rinse, Repeat.  For a second time in as many days, we’ve learned a member of the Android team is leaving the platform behind to embark on a new journey.  Today finds software engineer Cédric Beust blogging about his Android departure.  After spending the last four years working with Android, Beust is headed next door for LinkedIn. As he puts it, the decision was by far the hardest he’s ever had to make.

Worried about Android and the future the platform?  Don’t be.  Not only is Beust proud of where Android has come from, he’s also excited about where it’s going.

In this short period of time, we’ve gone through four major releases (and many, many minor ones, some of which you probably never even heard of), and each new version has been a major milestone that got everyone on the team incredibly excited.

FroYo is no exception, prepare to be blown away by what you will see very soon.

Good luck Cédric!  Thanks for all your contributions!
