Software Upgrade for Motorola Bravo Now Available


Attention all Motorola At&t Bravo users: there is an update for those of you running Android 2.1(Eclair).  2.2(Froyo), plus some additional improvements, is now available!

BRAVO Specific Highlights of the Upgrade

ProfilesAdded profiles feature that provides three customizable sets of home screens to give you access to the apps, shortcuts, and widgets you want, when you need them.
ApplicationsAdded new applications Files, Latitude, Places, News and Weather, Google Search.
Dialer searchPhone numbers and contacts can now be searched from the dialer screen by entering the first few letters of the contact’s name or first few digits of the contact’s number.
Task ManagerAdded Task manager app to assist with managing apps.
LinkedInLinkedIn® social network accounts can now be added to integrate with contacts, social networking updates, and messaging.
SecurityAdded new security features, including Exchange-based encryption and password security.
GalleryUpdated the design of the user interface.

Android 2.2 (Froyo) Highlights

Adobe Flash Player 10.1Your device now supports Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1, allowing access to rich Web content and games. Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is installed along with this upgrade.
App storage and updatingApplications can now be stored on the device’s microSD card. Additionally, apps can be set to automatically update by checking “allow automatic updating” under each app’s page in Android Market™.
Wi-Fi HotspotPhone can provide an Internet connection for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
USB TetheringYou can use your device as a 3G connection for a Windows® or Linux® laptop by connecting the phone to the computer with a USB cable.
Digital KeyboardAdded punctuation to the suggestion ribbon so contractions will display correctly.
