Sony Ericsson has introduced a new member in their growing Android-powered Xperia line today with the announcement of the Xperia neo V.  Expected to arrive in the fourth quarter in select global markets, the neo V runs Android 2.3.4 and features a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8255) processor, 3.7-inch display, and 5-megapixel camera.  Digging a little bit deeper, the phone also offers users 320MB internal storage, 2GB microSD card, a front-facing VGA camera,  and 1500 mAh battery.

Much like other Sony Ericsson handsets of 2011, the neo V comes with Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and has a built in HDMI connection, making it easy to share pictures and videos on a larger screen.  In terms of software, this is the first smart phone to run the latest build of Android and Sony Ericsson’s new app bundle which includes Google Talk with Video Chat, 3D sweep panorama and Facebook inside Xperia.

Head to Sony Ericsson’s website to read more about the neo V.  Based on previous releases out of the SE camp, we’d not expect this to hit the United States until early 2012 at the earliest.
