Sony Ericsson Debuts Android-powered ‘Live with Walkman’

Sony Ericsson has announced a new iteration of the iconic Walkman series  today in the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman.  Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the device features a 3.2-inch display, 1 GHz processor, and 5-megapixel camera (720p video), and 320MB internal storage.  The Walkman comes with a 2GB microSD card with the option for up to 32GB add-on storage, USB, Wi-Fi, GPS, and all the stuff that makes Android phones great.  Just remember, this is not a phone!  Of course, this guy also has a ton of preloaded features and content based around Sony’s portfolio, including Timescape, Qriocity, xLOUD technology, and Track ID.

The specifics as to which countries (globally in selected markets) are expected to offer the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman are not yet known but we should look for a fourth quarter rollout.
