Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy SII always seems to be left in the dark. Whether it’s official updates from Sprint or Samsung, there is hardly ever any mention of it. Samsung has tried convincing us in the past regarding their efforts to speed up this process of sending updates to its customers. While we’ve yet to see any real timely updates thus far, we continue to purchase these devices. After 5 months, Samsung claims to have sold over 10million of these Galaxy SII devices worldwide.
We’ve seen Sammy tell everyone that the international SGSII will get ICS in March. We’ve yet to receive “official” news regarding the E4GT, but someone from XDA found a neat little snippet buried inside Sprint‘s website. Credit goes to kc_exactly, the XDA member who found this.

There is a bunch of discussion at his thread on XDA. As you can see, it shows a build number of FB10 which we believe to be ICS v4.0.3. It’s exciting new to say the least.
