The latest news surrounding the HTC Ville is that the super-thin handset will land on T-Mobile’s network when it debuts, presumably in the next few months. This is surely good news to those who felt like both HTC and T-Mobile were barely present at CES last week.  Presumably set for a Mobile World Congress announcement next month, the phone would bring some next generation hardware to the nation’s fourth largest carrier.

As a reminder, specifications are set to include a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 4.3-inch qHD display, and more – all in a sleek metal body that comes in under 8mm in thickness.  In terms of software we expect to see Android 4.0 and HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI as well as the requisite pre-installed carrier apps.

Rumored specifications for the HTC Ville:

  • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor
  • Adreno 225 GPU
  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display
  • Beats Audio integration
  • 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera
  • 1,650mAh battery
  • Thin form factor (<8mm)

According to Pocketnow, HTC will be unveiling another new service, HTC Family, which will be included in the HTC Sense experience.  Details include the ability to allow family members to communicate and track other with ge0-location.

Look for more rumors and corroboration to surface ahead of next month’s annual Mobile World Congress!
