Cricket Wireless released the Samsung Grand Prime today for all of those that want a premium smartphone without the premium price. Starting at 179.99, the Samsung Grand Prime comes with a sizable 5″ qHD display, a quad-core processor, a 5 MP front facing camera and an 8 MP rear camera. It is also worth mentioning that the Samsung Grand Prime is running Android 4.4 and carries a large 2600 mAh battery. These are some impressive specs when you consider that the price is what others pay for, but you are not being tied down with a 2-year contract.
Speaking of contracts, Cricket is also running a limited time only special where they will give you a free month of service after you complete 2 month of service when you switch over from T-Mobile, Metro-PCS, Sprint, Boost and others. You must also select the $50 or $60 monthly plan for it to be credited to your account. This is a great deal for those that have been wanting to cut ties with their current caries in favor of a contract-less service provider.
Is the Samsung Grand Prime and a promise of a free month of service enough to make you switch? Make sure to drop us a comment below and give us your thoughts!
