Google’s all new Pixel and Pixel XL have been a hit for Android fans. The phone is blazing fast, beautifully made, and has a spectacular camera which makes it one of the best premium phones of 2016.
For those of you who like to make their devices look unique, Toast makes real wood skins for computers, tablets, gaming consoles and smartphones. Toast is a real US based company that makes all of its products in Oregon. I’ve reviewed a couple of its skins in the past for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Huawei Nexus 6P, and found them to be one of the most unique accessories I could get in a crowded tech space.
Toast has now released its real wood skin for the Google Pixel XL with a starting price of just $34. The skins come in three designs: Walnut, Ash, and Ebony. They can even be laser etched with a custom design to make your phone truly unique.
Not only do I love Toast’s unique look, but I also really like how easy the skins are to install. I usually don’t spend much time installing screen protectors as I always fail with a bubble. Toast skins are anything but difficult to install, as you simply have to peel off the backing, line it up to the fittings, and press down. The fit is so perfect it looks like your phone is made out of real wood.
