Todoist is a productivity application that enables users to create and manage tasks easily, and it just received a major overhaul. The app has just been redesigned to meet Google’s Material design guidelines.

What’s New

Quick add tasks by taping the FAB (floating action button) at the bottom of the screen. Then type a task, priority, label, and due dates all in that one line. Use start and end dates to stay on top of your busy schedule.

Gestures were added for a smoother and more intuitive experience. With a simple swipe to the leftyou can schedule a task while a right swipe will complete a task .

The Todoist development team’s goal was to make an already useful tool more colorful and beautiful. The update to Material design allows the application to become more familiar and user friendly. The update has given users the ability to change themes, gesture support, and a quick add option allows users to add, complete, adjust tasks and overall be more productive and organized.
