US Cellular is one of the leading regional carriers in USA and they are offering a lot of Android powered devices with a cheap price tag. Though today, they launched an Android powered device with Huawei, known as the Huawei Ascend Y. US Cellular is offering it for $29.99 with a 2-year agreement.

Of course it’s a budget phone and I hope you are not expecting a dual-core or quad-core processor under the hood as it features a single-core 800Mhz processor, running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, 3.5-inch HVGA (480×320-pixel) touch screen, 3.2-megapixel camera/camcorder, and DTS Envelo audio technology for surround sound.

if you are a Galaxy S II or One X lover, this phone is not for you, but if you are new to Android and you are not planning to invest big or just looking for a cheap device, then this is not a bad choice. So tell us in the comment box below, are you planning to grab this from US Cellular?
