Verizon announces the release of another phone that isn’t the Galaxy Nexus – White DROID RAZR available tomorrow

This may not be the device you were hoping Verizon would announce, but look on the bright side: at least we know Verizon hasn’t forgotten how to announce a device. Okay, not really a bright side but in Verizon’s defense… I’ve got nothing.

Well, if you’ve been holding on to that upgrade, just waiting for a white version of the DROID RAZR, then tomorrow’s your lucky day. Verizon has announced the availability of its new “flashy colored” DROID RAZR, which will begin selling tomorrow for $299 both online and at retail stores. There’s nothing new about the device other than the color but Verizon is quick to point out that they got this device out “Just in time for the holidays.” Really Verizon? You were worried about getting this out in time for the holidays but you’re still dragging your feet on the most anticipated device of the year?

For those of you who are in fact interested in the white DROID RAZR, Verizon is offering a limited time offer of $100 off a DROID XYBOARD tablet when you purchase one with a new two-year customer agreement. That may be something to consider if you also had your eyes on one of the newly released DROID XYBOARD tablets.

Customers can purchase the DROID RAZR in the new color for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. Additionally, for a limited time only, customers can take advantage of a special promotion and receive $100 off a DROID XYBOARD tablet with the purchase of a white DROID RAZR with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers that purchase a DROID RAZR will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan beginning at $39.99 monthly access and a smartphone data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
