Verizon introduces LG Optimus Zone 3 for simplified prepaid plan

If you want a smartphone with a prepaid plan without burning a hole in your pocket, you can opt for the new LG Optimus Zone 3 on Verizon for as little as $69.99. Don’t mistake it for an budget phone with limited features, as the device is loaded with a 4.5-inch display, a quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front snappers. On the software front, it comes preloaded with Android Lollipop and supports Gesture shot (gesture-controlled camera shutter) and Selfie Flash (dedicated flash for front camera).

The $30 a month plan can get you unlimited talk and text, as well as Wi-Fi only access for data. Verizon‘s simplified prepaid plans are aiming students or the entry level users who don’t want to break the bank. The LG Optimus Zone 3 is a big step from its predecessor. So take a look even if you have the Zone 2, it may be a legitimate upgrade for you.
