Verizon users can now send Starbucks eGift cards via text

Verizon and Starbucks is making gift giving much easier by allowing users to send eGift cards using their ‘Verizon Messages’ app.

All you need to do is click on a recipient from your contacts list, then click on the eGift icon and then you can send eGift cards with values of $5, $10 or $25 dollars to anyone on any U.S. carrier.  Users have the ability to design their eGift card by choosing a background, amount, and message to help make it more personal.

Rather than going through the Google Play store, users will be billed directly by Verizon.  This is a great way to send a gift if you hate shopping or don’t have time before Christmas to go out and get presents.
