With Microsoft now entering an already crowded section of the Google Play Store that is the Android launcher category, we want to know what your favourite third-party launcher is and, most importantly, why.

We’ve already covered what we consider the top Android launchers to replace your stock launcher on your device, but that’s just our opinion and does stick to the more well known replacements. Do you have a new relatively unknown launcher that you really like? Or perhaps it’s a certain configuration of one of the more popular launchers that works really well for you? Either way, we want to hear from you just what you think is not only the best, but your favourite Android launcher.

Simply drop us a comment below and state your go-to Android launcher and why you like it and we can see the communities choices.

    • Huge user of Nova Launcher since moving to Android, but recently just switched to Action Launcher 3 too and love it because of the color matching status bar, as well as the app drawer.

  1. Nova. It’s the most complete launcher, I find features from other launchers either useless or reproducible in Nova.

  2. Nova is the most complete, and my goto and fallback. Action Launcher comes in at a close second because the app drawer is great, but if Nova had letters on the side of the list view drawer Action Launcher will fall further down the list. Nova has covers, and for shutters I use Popup widget.

  3. Smart Launcher, simply because it looks good without faffing around and it auto categorises my apps.

  4. Google Now Launcher. I really heavily on Google Now so it only makes sense to use that launcher.

  5. I prefer Lightning Launcher eXtreme for customization while I lean towards Nova Launcher for more simplistic setups.

Lately, I have been using Nova Launcher with Kustom Live Wallpaper to get my customization needs covered quickly and easily.

  6. Nova launcher. The customization of this launcher is phenomenal. And, it’s not resource heavy, yet the amount of themes you can apply, etc and the animations are excellent. You can even make it feel and act like the AOSP stock Android launcher if you so prefer, but still retain the extended customization that Nova is known for.
